Our Mission

SWAPP is built to transition church software from staff-heavy business management to member-centric engagement. We aim to reach every door and nurture every soul by providing simple, powerful tools to the hands of the people.

The SWAPP Goal Offload administrative workloads from staff while giving members tools to be better engaged with their church and one another.

Step 1: Registration

Register your church at theswapp.io/register. You'll need to provide your church name, address, and primary administrator email.

Admin Tip The first account created is the **Head Admin**. Only you can access billing and church-wide security settings.

Step 2: Branding & Settings

Navigate to the Settings tab in your Dashboard to customize the app for your members.

  • Logo: Upload your church logo (PNG preferred) to replace SWAPP branding.
  • Giving Links: Add Tithely, PayPal, or custom URLs for member convenience.
  • Church Password: Set a "Joining Password" to keep your database private.

Step 3: Organizing Geography

Before drawing maps, you must create Folders. Think of these as "Territories" or "Zones".

Example: North Zone, South Zone, Downtown.

Pro Planning Group folders by major geographic boundaries (highways, rivers, or main roads) to help members navigate easily.

Step 4: Drawing Your Maps

Inside a folder, click Create Map. Use the Polyline tool to trace the streets you want to include.

  • Target Size: We recommend 30-60 doors per map for a 90-minute outreach session.
  • Naming: Use consistent IDs like North-01 or A-12.

Step 5: Inviting Your Team

Now that your maps are ready, it's time to bring in your soul winners.

  • Referral Code: Share your church's unique code (found in Settings) so members can find you instantly.
  • Admin vs. Member: By default, users are "Members". Toggle trusted leaders to "Admin" in the Team tab to let them manage maps.

CRM & Lead Capture

Manage your prospects and members through a structured database that syncs with the app in real-time.

Folders vs. All Contacts

Every record exists in the All Contacts master list. Folders act as tags (e.g., "Baptism Candidates," "VBS 2025").

Optimization Hint Select multiple contacts in the CRM and click the Street icon to generate an optimized driving/walking route for follow-up visits.

The Spiral & Quadrant Method

Start mapping at the church and work outward in increasing concentric circles. Use suffixes like NE, SE for large folders.

Troubleshooting

Missing Verification Emails? Check your Spam or Promotions folder. Mark admin@theswapp.io as a safe sender.
Login "Organization Not Found" Ensure your email address capitalization matches exactly on both Mobile and Desktop.
Map Still Red After Check-out? In the Dashboard, navigate to the Map List page and click the Refresh icon next to the street.
